I was born and raised in England and moved to South Florida in 1996. I actually started my career in the bowling industry and it was a bowling scholarship at Vincennes University, Indiana that got the ball rolling on my education: After 2 years I realized that I needed a career change and obtained an associate degree in science from Santa Fe Teaching Zoo in Gainesville, majoring in Zoology, and a bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan., majoring in business management.

 

The most valued lesson learned, be it on a bowling team or in the animal world or in the car business: Expect the unexpected! As much as I love working with my animals or customers, I have learned that I should always anticipate the curve ball.

Prior professions include Wildlife Director at Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium in Fort Myers, and Zoo Director in Great Bend, Kansas.

 

In 2015 I moved back to South Florida to join the Schumacher Subaru Family. Working in the car business has been very eventful, enjoyable, and enlightening. Some will even say its like working in a zoo! The one thing that makes my job enjoyable is that every day is different. Since my time here, I have met people from all over the world with different backgrounds, personalities, and I looks forward to the future with Subaru and Schumacher Automotive.
